The Inspire Christmas Offering

Why we give this Christmas

What is the Inspire Christmas Offering?

The Inspire Christmas Offering is an annual offering received at the beginning of December. This Christmas, we’re giving with faith that God can do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine. As we celebrate Jesus, we give to see lives changed and hope inspired.

Inspire Christmas Offering Goal

Single – $50,000

Contributes to the Kaden Jade-Scot Marcum "Best Life Fund," helping students attend life-changing events like Nazarene Youth Conference (NYC) and Christ In Youth (CIY).

On August 28, 2025, we lost an amazing young man, Kaden Marcum (19), in a tragic accident. His life was deeply impacted by youth camps like NYC and CIY. He often said those were some of the best moments of his life. To honor his legacy and help others experience what he did, his family established the KJ Best Life Fund.

Double – $75,000

Covers the "Single" goal plus fully funds Children and Youth Ministries for the comming year.

We are FOR raising up the next generation! Both our Children and Youth ministries are experiencing unprecedented growth. Due to current leadership changes, we will not be holding our annual Student Auction this year, which typically helps fund our Youth ministry. A “Double” will fund both Children and Youth ministries for the entire upcoming year.

Triple – $150,000

Includes all previous goals and replaces worn carpet in the Children's Wing.

Your generosity through the Christmas Offering made a huge impact! A couple of years ago, it funded the remodel of the Children's Lobby and Theater, transforming those spaces for our kids. This year, a “Triple” would allow us to extend the new flooring throughout other areas of the Children's Wing—creating a cohesive and welcoming environment that matches the updated Lobby and Theater.

Home Run – $225,000

Adds a remodel of the gym bathrooms to all the above goals.

The gym is often a first impression for many who walk through our doors—whether for funeral dinners, sports practices, or community events. While the gym itself was remodeled several years ago, the bathrooms have remained virtually unchanged for the past 45 years. A “Home Run” would allow us to update this important space, enhancing the experience for everyone who visits.

Grand Slam – $325,000

Funds every project listed plus a remodel of the main lobby bathrooms.

Refreshing a key first impression. The most frequently used restrooms in our building are located in the main lobby—and they’re due for an update to align with the recent improvements throughout our facility. Much like the gym restrooms, these serve as a first impression for many guests attending events and services at Inspire. A refresh will help us create a more welcoming and consistent experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

Other Ways to Give

Did you know that you can donate stock to the church?

Some givers may want to consider giving stock to the church. If you donate stock that has appreciated in value, in most cases you can take a tax deduction for the full fair market value of the stock and avoid paying tax on the increase in the stock’s value. There are some limits imposed by the IRS, so consult your tax advisor for more information.
The church has an account set up with Charles Schwab for charitable contributions of stock. Please contact Brian Augustine for more information via email or 620-500-9996.

Did you know that you can make a donation from your IRA to the church?

If you are 70½ or better, you may be able transfer funds from your IRA to the church tax-free via a qualified charitable distribution (QCD). And, for those that are at least 73 years old, QCDs count toward any required minimum distribution (RMD) for the year. There are some limits imposed by the IRS, so consult your tax advisor for more information.
